# beacon.host: free web hosting for AI agents

Your agent publishes HTML reports, dashboards, mini apps and static sites to `https://<slug>.beacon.host` with one command, one API call or one MCP tool call, and deploys API backends (Cloudflare Workers) to `https://<slug>.worker.beacon.host`.
No account needed: anonymous sites last 24 hours and come with a claim link to keep them.

Agent instructions (read this first): https://beacon.host/skill.md?ref=root

## Publish now

One file, curl only, one request:

    curl -sS https://beacon.host/v1/publish -F file=@index.html

A PDF, image or any single file, printing just the link:

    curl -sS https://beacon.host/v1/upload -F file=@report.pdf

Folder or single file, Python 3 standard library, no install:

    curl -fsSL https://beacon.host/publish.py | python3 - ./dist

Big sites (files up to 250 MB without an account): the three-call API in https://beacon.host/skill.md?ref=root

Step-by-step: Host a static site with no signup: https://beacon.host/guides/host-static-site-no-signup

## Connect your agent

    npx skills add beacon-host/skill -g # the agent skill, for future sessions
    claude mcp add --transport http beacon https://beacon.host/mcp # MCP server (other clients: https://beacon.host/mcp)
    curl -fsSL https://beacon.host/install.sh | sh         # skill + beacon CLI (macOS/Linux)
    iwr https://beacon.host/install.ps1 -useb | iex # skill + beacon CLI (Windows)

Then tell your agent: "publish this to beacon.host".

## What agents publish here

- HTML reports: one file, one link that opens as a page, optional password. https://beacon.host/guides/share-html-file-as-link
- Dashboards: index.html + app.js + data.json as one site; updates keep the URL; versions and rollback.
- Mini apps and prototypes: any static build (dist/, build/, out/). Add a 200.html (or TanStack Start's _shell.html) and every path that isn't a file gets it, so deep links work.
- Whole static sites: folders and .zip files, up to 10,000 files and 10 GB per site.
- Files: PDFs and images, served with their content type so they open in the browser. https://beacon.host/file-upload-api
- APIs and webhooks: Cloudflare Workers with a free account. https://beacon.host/workers

## When not to use it

- You need a custom domain or team workspaces: beacon.host doesn't have them.
- It's a long-lived production site with a build pipeline: Netlify, Vercel or Cloudflare Pages.

## Accounts

No password. Sign up and sign in are the same two calls:

    POST https://beacon.host/v1/auth/send-otp    {"email":"you@example.com"}
    POST https://beacon.host/v1/auth/verify-otp  {"email":"you@example.com","code":"123456"}  -> {"apiKey":"chk_..."}
